Castlebar is the largest town in county mayo with a population of
almost 15,000.
The town has government offices, a 3rd level collage as well as a number
of growing industries.
Ballina is located beside Killala Bay in north Mayo and has a
population of almost 12,000.
This is the cathedral town for the diocese of Killala.
With industries such as IT, Medical, and manufacturing to name just a
few.
Foxford is a growing town in the center of County Mayo located between
Castlebar and Ballina.
It is the home of the historical "Foxford Wollen Mills" and is one of
the main fishing towns along the river Moy.
This part of mayo is famous for it's fishing especially on the river Moy,
which attracts visitors from far and near for salmon fishing.
Air Travel
All our houses are located within 45 minutes of our local
international airport.
Knock Airport has daily flights to Dublin, London and Glasgow as well as
many other routes.
You can live in rural Ireland and still be only an hour from the major
cities.

Bus & Rail
The Irish Rail service, "Iarnród Éireann" has a twice daily service
from Dublin to both Foxford and Ballina.

Schools
All of our properties are located within 4 miles of a local national
school, and within 10 miles of a secondary school. With a bus service to
the towns for secondary students living in the rural areas.
Sports
There are a number of sports and other activities in the area. The
local Gaelic football team in Foxford area is Moy Davitts.
